Secrets of Uganda is the work of Sheldon and Stella, a husband and wife team based in Alberta, Canada. Together, they’ve created a direct supply line of premium-grade, cold-pressed Shea Butter sourced from Stella’s home region in Northern Uganda—a place where the rare Vitellaria Nilotica tree grows wild.
 
This region has endured decades of hardship and war, leaving limited access to education and employment. But through perseverance, Stella secured a university education and is now focused on supporting the women of her community—many of whom harvest and process the Shea nuts by hand.
 
Each jar of Shea Butter is more than just skincare—it’s part of a larger movement to create sustainable, community-led opportunity for women in Northern Uganda.
 
What Makes It Different
 
Unlike West African Shea, Vitellaria Nilotica is naturally softer, more spreadable, and deeply absorbent. It’s high in oleic acid, making it especially nourishing for dry, sensitive, or inflamed skin. This unrefined Shea Butter is cold-pressed without additives or fillers, preserving its rich nutrients and subtle, nutty scent.
 
Use it head to toe: for dry skin, chapped lips, cuticles, heels, or anywhere in need of repair.
